Spring?

This is what it looked like outside my window an hour ago:

There's two more inches now.  I think Mother Nature missed the memo about it being Spring now, and that it can BLOODY WELL STOP SNOWING ALREADY!!!!!!

Sigh.  And I have my first mini-exam to grade tonight, so I'm in for a lovely evening.  I hope things are better wherever it is that you are.  :-)

Well, it's pretty, but...

I can see being through with it. It's 70 here now.

Hang in there,

I can see being through with it. Oh I am waaaay beyond through. I had to go to the local botanical garden to make up for the lack of warmth and the scent of green and growing things. Alas, I only had an hour. I wonder how they'd feel if I moved in for the duration? ::g:: There's still snow on the ground today. :-P Where's that warm, moist air from the Gulf when you need it?

Yikes! We had snow on Monday, too. I am SO ready for this winter thing to be over. . .

The good thing (usually) about spring snow is that it doesn't stay long; ours is already gone.

But at least the view looks lovely.

I won't say "have fun with the grading," because I know too well what it's like.

I am SO ready for this winter thing to be over. . . Yes. Anytime, now. Like yesterday. :-P

But at least the view looks lovely. That is entirely subjective, I'm afraid. The first dozen or so times it snowed, I could cheer myself up with thinking that. I really *must* be done, because it's not working anymore. I need daffodils, not this white stuff.

Grading wasn't too horrible . . . call me pleasantly surprised. Either they actually learned something, or I'm making my exams too easy.

It looks very pretty, but I can understand that you've had enough of it. I hope it'll go away soon!

It looks very pretty, but I can understand that you've had enough of it. More than enough. It doesn't even look pretty to me anymore.

I hope it'll go away soon! That makes two of us! :-) About half of it is gone as of today, and I'm hoping we'll see the last of it tomorrow.

I love your icon!

Craziness, indeed! I sure hope you don't end up with this - we got about 6 inches in a couple of hours and it was that heavy, wet stuff - miserable. I'm crossing my fingers for sun and warmth for you! :-)

I'll pack a ray of sun and send it your way! Oh, please! And could you send some of that warmth, while you are at it? I need my spring flowers or I'm going to go nuts.

We're about half melted. I'm hoping the other half will disappear (and STAY gone) tomorrow.

Brrrr.

I noticed the neighbour's wisteria coming into bloom today.

Oh, dear. It's daffodils galore over here. Erm, that doesn't really help, does it? Let's hope it's gone quickly. And best of luck with the grading.

Oh, dear. It's daffodils galore over here. Erm, that doesn't really help, does it? ::smiles through gritted teeth:: I'm happy for you. Really. I am. Truly. Ours will be coming soon. Maybe by June. Maybe. ::iz consumed with daffodil envy::

Grading went fine, amazingly enough. It was a welcome distraction from the lack of daffodils.

I don't think snow ever stops being pretty to me, no matter how much the actual snow-weather mucks up/pains my hip. But I can understand you being through with it! I'm enjoying the start of spring here, but my heart still misses winter, probably because it didn't go quite as I had wanted it (who wants to travel all day on Christmas?!).

I hope your daffodils pop up soon! I'm a big crocus girl, as one probably wouldn't be too surprised to find. (; We've got lots over overcast skies here - but then, it is England, and that doesn't mean it isn't spring. :B

Oh, Aprils Fool snow, you're mean!
