Character Meme

Meme via dickgloucester  who took it from methleigh  and pokey  (though I have seen other origins, too :-)  ):

Don't take too long to think about it.

Fifteen fictional characters (television, films, plays, books, comics) who've influenced you and that will always stick with you. List the first fifteen you can recall in no more than fifteen minutes.

In the order they came to me . . .

Rose Campbell (Louisa May Alcott's Eight Cousins and Rose in Bloom
Jo March (Louisa May again, this time from Little Women)
Laura Ingalls (the Little House books; she's not fictional, but I'm sure the Laura of her books is somewhat fictionalized)
Sherlock Holmes (fell like a stone for The Great Detective)
Severus Snape (him, too)
Eowyn (Lord of the Rings; damn, but I wanted to be the one swinging that bloody great sword :-D)
Masha (Chekov's Three Sisters)
Spock (It's only logical ::g::)
Elinor Dashwood (Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility)
Elizabeth Bennett (Pride and Prejudice)
Mr. Darcy (ditto)
Julien Sorel (Stendahl's Le Rouge et Le Noir)
Justine (eponymous heroine of de Sade's novel - a real eye-opener, that one  o.0)
Rebecca (Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe)
and, just to throw a spanner into the works, Bullwinkle J. Moose (because I have a finely honed appreciation of the absurd XD)

I haven't the nerve to do this one, I'm sure folk would flee in terror, but - Eowyn?

You bet your ass, that girl had a pair.

Oh come on - you don't scare us! :-)

Yep, Eowyn. I think I might have been a Viking warrior or Scottish berserker in a previous life! XD
